We are absolutely thrilled to announce our JULY 2018 Employee of The Month Marie Hutcheson! The day Marie walked through our Harmony doors was one of the luckiest days we have ever had. Marie came to us with 26 years of caregiving experience and has in one way or another been a caregiver her whole life. What she brings to our family and yours is truly priceless and it is an honor to have her on our team.
We are very pleased to introduce our June 2018 Employee of The Month Rhondalynn Linger! Rhondalynn has been such an important and loving part of our Harmony family since April 2015. She came to us with private care-giving experience and cared for her mother as well. Her soft-spoken words, kindhearted nature and absolute love of humankind makes her the perfect natural born caregiver. We are extremely lucky to have her on our team.
We are very excited to introduce our Employee of The Month for May 2018, Samantha Myers! Sam has been an important part of our family of caregivers since October 2013. She earned her CNA license while she was still in high school and came to us full of knowledge and heart. She is so skilled at what she does that she serves as one of our trainers for new employees in our onboarding and orientation process. When we asked Sam why she loves caregiving, her response was “I love to see how people have different perspectives on the changes of the world today, and I really love caring for people when their family cannot”.
Horatio has been an essential part of our Harmony Family since July 5, 2017. His kind caring heart, flexibility, confidence and winning smile will always puts you at ease. Horatio came to Harmony with years of experience caring for his own family. He treats every client with dignity and respect and always has their best interest at heart.
We have been lucky to have Chris as part of our Harmony family since March 4, 2015. He came to us with two years caregiving experience and a handful of amazing references singing his praises. Chris has also spent time as a “Big Brother” serving as an exemplary role model for children who did not have a male role model in their home. Anyone who has had the pleasure of having Chris as a caregiver knows he is truly a blessing and will care for your loved ones as though they were his own family.
My Grandma sadly suffered from Alzheimer’s for more than 20 years. During her final years, her memory and motor skills suffered terribly. We got in the habit, as most people do, of sitting in front of the television and wasting the day away. We had no idea of the importance of activities for seniors with Alzheimer’s. The more she did nothing, the more I felt her slipping away.
