We are so very pleased and excited to announce the addition of our latest team member Michael Connors.

Michael grew up in health care. His family owned a skilled nursing facility. He began working in post-acute care when he was 8 years old, singing to the residents in his parent’s nursing home. He earned his LVN license when he was 19, and continues to remain active in healthcare to this day.

Michael holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Brigham Young with a minor in accounting. He holds an AIT certification and has been an acting administrator of a skilled nursing facility in Los Angeles. He held a position as the Assistant Director of Nursing for a medical staffing organization here in Sacramento. More recently he was the Community Relations Director of a startup assisted living facility here in Sacramento as well. Michael is also an iv certified adon, rac-ct 3.0, wcc, dsd, and rcfe admin.

Michael will be sharing marketing responsibility with our director, Patrick Philbrick. You will see them both covering greater Sacramento, looking for ways to better serve our community. Both Michael and Patrick are skilled educators, and with Harmony’s multi-disciplinary, continuing education provider certifications we will be offering training in a wide variety of nursing topics: Stress management, Falls Prevention, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care, Infection Control, Home Safety, HIPPA in Home Care, Assisting with Medications, Communications Skills, Ethical Legal Behavior, and much more.

Harmony Home Health is growing. Our vision for providing the best home care possible is coming to life. We are passionate about creating jobs for our well deserving, hardworking, and talented caregivers as they provide healing personal and companion care to families in need all over our region. It is such a privilege to be able to do this. But we couldn’t do it without the finest employees available. Michael was the final candidate in a long list of applicants for our new Client Services Coordinator position. But in the final analysis, Michael’s impressive background won him the job. Michael’s credentials include his extensive experience in nursing, successful marketing of assisted living, nursing homes, and RCFE facilities, and his honorable career as a Lt. Colonel in the Army...all these factors made it clear that he was the best choice to help us grow Harmony Home Health.
